Artificial Womb is a feminist arts collective, which produces a monthly zine and runs a zine distro & art shop.

Resources

Everything below are resources provided by Artificial Womb:

AW40 Zine

Our latest zine, AW40, discusses; diversity and representation in videogames, the reality of being a composer, Dua Lipa’s new album, Laura Marling’s live streamed concert at Union Chapel in London, and much more.AW40 Zine

You can order our zines on our Etsy shop, but we’re particularly proud of our subscription options on Patreon. If you subscribe at the $5 you can get the zines in the post AND a piece of feminist merch (this month we made keyrings), every month!

We also have a pop-up shop. Look out for us at feminist-y events once lockdown is over!

ART

Artist Ana Hine (Editor-In-Chief, Art Section Editor and Shop Manager) will be holding a workshop called "Obscuring Text In Your Artwork". In this workshop she will demonstrate painting techniques you can use to obscure text within your work. These techniques can be used to discuss traumatic memories or events in a way that avoids traumatising the viewer.
Visit the workshop for more details!
