Books and Pamphlets
Options for Dealing With SquattingOptions for dealing with squatting is a collectively authored book of responses to the Ministry of Justice’s consultation of the same name. It draws on the tradition of collective authorship (Karen Elliot, Luther Blissett, Wu-Ming) to examine practically the philosophical question of individual ownership.
NO! Against Adult SupremacyNO! Against Adult Supremacy is a collection of Youth Liberation writing, originally published online by Stinney Distro. This anthology draws together all 20 issues of the NO! zine series into one print edition. It is jointly published with Active Distribution.
Brandalism Subvertising ManualA handy pocket-sized print edition of Brandalism‘s Subvertising Manual.
Make Rojava Green AgainIn language that bridges the Utopian and the concrete, the poetic and the everyday, the Internationalist Commune of Rojava has produced both a vision and a manual for what a free, ecological society can look like. In these pages you will find a philosophical introduction to the idea of social ecology, a theory that argues that only when we end the hierarchical relations between human beings (men over women, young over old, one ethnicity or religion over another, etc.) will we be able to heal our relationship with the natural world.
Animal SquatAnimal Squat by Double Why is the Italian artist’s debut children’s book. We think it will give young and old people alike a valuable alternative perspective on the important subjects of property, justice and freedom.
Protest StencilProtest Stencil is London’s most prolific subvertiser, regularly making headlines with his subversive political interventions into the capital’s advertising spaces.
We’ve collected together photography of his most inspiring pieces in a 36 page full-colour pamphlet.
Great AnarchistsGreat Anarchists by Ruth Kinna and Clifford Harper started life as a pamphlet series. We’ve collected all ten essays and illustrations together to make this beautiful book.
DOPE Magazine is a quarterly newspaper published by Dog Section Press.
We distribute free bundles of DOPE to anyone who could use a little solidarity, to sell on the street. Working with a network of radical bookshops, social centres, homeless organisations and independent volunteers, we distribute 20,000 copies each issue. This is worth around £60,000 to our street-vendors.
DOPE is also free to prisoners, who can request copies via Haven Distribution.
