re:Configure workshops combine research with activism in order to reconfigure the assumption that digital security is for technical experts only. This is a practical workshop exploring how digital security affects your life, with no prior experience or knowledge required. We want to help you think about and improve your data privacy when using new technologies, and encourage debate around how to make digital spaces safer for all. Results from the workshop will inform an ongoing research project, however participation in this aspect of the workshop is entirely optional. While the workshop is open to all, we particularly welcome women and other groups that are underrepresented in cybersecurity discourse.
To attend this talk you must pre-register on eventbrite. Registration will close one hour before the scheduled start time.
